The Grass-Hop Stool emerged from a design challenge aimed at transforming a bulky, heavy chair into a lighter, more versatile, and more sustainable alternative. Inspired by the natural world, particularly the elegant, streamlined sturdiness of a grasshopper, we reimagined the stool with a minimalist aesthetic and a clever three-point stance. This design embodies resilience and timeless style, born from a pandemic project and refined through a commitment to reducing waste and celebrating natural materials. The Grass-Hop Stool serves as a testament to how creative constraints can lead to beautiful, functional, and purposeful design.
Instructions & Care
Instructions:
Sit comfortably in the seat, ensuring your lower back rests against the back brace. This stool is not meant for use as a step stool or ladder. Please DO NOT stand on it, sit on the edge of the seat, or sit in reverse.
Care:
To maintain the beauty of stool, wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and excessive moisture. We recommend periodically applying a wood wax or conditioner to preserve the finish and natural luster of the wood. To prevent damage to the wood, avoid placing it in direct sunlight for extended periods or in areas with high humidity.
